Excursion Overview
Catalina Island is a small uninhabited island recognized for its impressive coral reefs and as one of the best diving destinations in the Dominican Republic.

During the Catalina Island Tour from Punta Cana, guests will have the opportunity to dive in the vibrant coral reefs in Catalina, swimming among the lively school of fish enjoying the impressive underwater fauna of the Caribbean. We will start the snorkeling excursion leaving in the morning towards La Romana.
​
During the trip, we will pass through the sugar cane fields while your guide gives you interesting information about the history of the area, the general culture and the rum manufacturing techniques of the country. Upon arriving at La Romana, we will board our catamaran and depart for Catalina. Our first stop on the island will be "The Wall", a majestic coral wall that extends from the island to the Caribbean Sea.

After the snorkeling you will continue the road to the beautiful Catalina beach. Upon arrival, guests will have access to 2 kilometers of white sand beaches and crystal clear waters, a beach bar with drinks and a delicious Dominican buffet lunch with barbecue. We will board the catamaran at around 3:00 pm to visit the beautiful village of Altos De Chavon, created in coral stones, with beautiful views of the Chavon River.

This tour operates on Mondays and Fridays, its approximate duration is 10 hours.
